There are several potential reasons for transactions not being accepted. Please consult the following checklist.
Is your Chip and PIN machine displaying a network? Bluetooth symbol? Wi-Fi connection?
Is your merchant account open? There have been situations where customers have actively closed their merchant account without knowing, and thus not been able to process card payments.
